In memory of Dame Julie Kenny

It is with huge sadness that we have learnt of the death of Dame Julie Kenny. She was our first Chair and steered the Collective through its formative years launching its Cultural strategy and championing culture in our city and region. She helped lay the foundations on which we have been able to build a future for cultural projects and organisations. 

She had the energy, commitment and ability to get things done and it isn’t just the cultural community that will feel her loss.  However it is her family that we feel the most for at this time and hope they’ll find some solace in reading the numerous tributes to a remarkable woman.
