Our vision

We believe that every individual and community in Sheffield can thrive when culture is placed at the heart of the city’s strategic development.

As a Collective, we will be changemakers and promote the key role culture can play in enabling communities to thrive and grow. We aim to ensure that everyone understands why culture is so important.

Culture is about how we live. It is people’s creativity, knowledge, identity, traditions and passions. It improves our quality of life, wellbeing and creates a sense of place and character that can drive our economy.
